    We do not sell to public. As a manufacturer, we import the material and sell only to the trade. Consumers can purchase Vicostone through an installer, designer, contractor or flooring dealer that sells direct to the public. Our showrooms are open to the public!
  • What if I don’t have an installer/designer/contractor/etc.?
    We have a wide network of dealership across Canada. Fabricators or Kitchen & Bath dealers are the best resources for purchasing Vicostone. Visit the Where to Buy page to locate the dealers nearest to you.
  • How can I get slab pricing?
    For pricing please refer to fabricators.
  • How can I get samples?
    All of our colors are available 4”x4” format. You can request samples directly through our website or simply pick them up at our showrooms. We also have photos of full slabs, close-ups and installation projects on our website. Feel free to take your own pictures as you walk through our facilities.
  • How soon will my order be ready after it is placed?
    Slabs that are in stock in our warehouses will be ready available for pick up within the hour. Otherwise, we will deliver as soon as possible, according to the delivery schedule, based on your location.
  • Do you offer design services?
    Our showroom staffs are more than happy to assist you by answering general inquiries, providing samples and offering advices on your renovation project when you visit our showroom. We offer one-on-one appointments during the week. One-on-one appointments should be scheduled in advance and be limited to one hour. We do not provide drawings or floor plans, determine quantities, or go onsite. If you require additional help with your project, it might be time to hire an interior designer.

  • What is Vicostone?
    Vicostone is a quartz based engineered stone made for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and other interior surfaces. It is made of up to 93% natural quartz minerals mixed with safe inorganic binders and resins. Vicostone is manufactured using Bretonstone® technology and is being sold globally under the multiple brand names including Vicostone Quartz Surfaces, PentalQuartz, Pompeii Quartz, Quantum Quartz and Unistone.

    Production is based in Vietnam – a country that many luxury brands turn to for its solid reputation for quality craftsmanship.
  • How long has Vicostone been in countertop business?
    Vicostone has been in the quartz manufacturing business since 2002 is considered as one of the largest quartz surface manufacturers in the world.
  • What is the percentage of quartz in Vicostone's products?
    Vicostone's products are made of up to 93% of natural quartz grain. This proportion is certified by Declare label provided by the International Living Future Institute – a well-known international organization headquartered in Seattle (USA).
  • What technologies does Vicostone use?
    Vicostone is manufactured using Bretonstone® (Italy) technology. We invested in six Bretonstone productions lines with capacity of approximately 25 million square foot of quartz slabs annually.
  • What is Bretonstone Technology?
    Vicostone is a quartz based engineered stone made for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and other interior surfaces. It is made with up to 93% natural quartz minerals mixed with safe inorganic binders and resins. Vicostone is manufactured using authentic Bretonstone® technology and is sold in the United States under the brand names Vicostone, PentalQuartz and Pompeii Quartz.
  • What are the differences between Vicostone compare with other quartz surfaces manufacturers?
    Most quartz manufacturers focus on monochromatic shades of either white, beige or grey. Vicostone specializes in the marble looks that now dominate in the contemporary kitchen and bath design. Acknowledging that nature has a richer palette, Vicostone’s R&D team includes subtle streaks of other colors to more closely mimic the natural marble and granite. Additionally, we offer most of our collections in jumbo slabs (size 130" x 65”) which are more cost efficient and can be featured as a large seamless island. Lastly, we only sell guaranteed premium products.
  • How many colors and finishes does Vicostone offer?
    Vicostone offers Canadian market more than 60 colors in three collections: Exotic, Natural and Classic. Most of our colors are available in a Polished finish. A few colors are also available in Honed and Leathered finishes.
  • What size are Vicostone slabs?
    Vicostone is available in the following slab sizes:
    Standard: 119"" x 56""; Thicknesses: 1/2"" (1.2CM) (selected colors)
    Standard: 119"" x 56""; Thicknesses: 3/4"" (2CM) & 1 1/4"" (3CM)
    Jumbo: 130"" x 65""; Thicknesses: 3/4"" (2CM) & 1 1/4"" (3CM) (selected colors)

  • Does the design go through the full body of the slab?
    Yes, Vicostone's design is solid all the way through the slab. The look you see on the surface can also be showcased in a wide variety of edge profiles.
  • Will my countertop look like the design on the website?
    Computer and phone screens display colors differently. Please order samples of our designs from our website to see the true color of our products. Vicostone quartz is engineered to have consistent movement and veining. However, differences in patterns and shade will occur between production runs. Please consult with a Vicostone representative for questions regarding specific designs.
  • Do any of your products contain recycled materials?
    Yes! Many of products contain recycled content. The best way to find out which lines and colors contain recycled content is to click on the search page and type ‘recycled’ into the search bar.
  • Is Vicostone good for the environment?
    Vicostone considers environmental protection as a top priority. Building a better and greener environment for today and for future generations lies at the core of VICOSTONE’s business ethics. Certified to ISO 14001:2004, all VICOSTONE activities are tightly controlled and annually audited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), creating and protecting a sustainable development.
  • How can I register my warranty?
    Visit our Warranty Registration page to submit your information. You'll need your product name, slab number and run number from your Vicostone dealer.
  • How long does Vicostone last?
    Vicostone offers a 15-year residential warranty and 10-year commercial warranty on all of its products. With proper care and maintenance, Vicostone can last a lifetime.
  • Is quartz more durable than granite?
    Quartz is harder than granite and it is engineered for busy interiors. Granite has to be regularly sealed and polished to fight off stains and scratches, while Vicostone is made to withstand regular use without the need to apply specialty sealers or waxes. All Vicostone products come with a 15 year limited residential warranty.
  • Is Vicostone heat resistant?
    Vicostone is heat resistant but not heat proof. Always use a heat pad or trivet to avoid permanent damage to your Vicostone.
  • Does Vicostone produce off-gasses?
    Vicostone is GREENGUARD Gold certified for use in sensitive environments like schools or healthcare facilities and produces no off-gasses or volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Is Vicostone safe for food preparation?
    VICOSTONE is NSF certified for food safety and GREENGUARD Gold certified to be free of volatile organic compounds. VICOSTONE is proven to be microbial resistant by reputable organizations and completely safe for food preparation.
  • Can we use Vicostone outdoors? How does it react to ultraviolet rays and thermal shock?
    Vicostone is meant for interior applications only. Outdoor use is not recommended.
  • Can Vicostone be used around  a fireplace - gas, wood or electric?
    Vicostone can be used as fireplace mantles and surrounding area where the heat is not over ….. Degrees Celsius. Please refer to Vicostone Fabrication Manual for more information.
  • How do I clean tough stains or dried spills?
    Most messes and spills on Vicostone can be cleaned with a mild soap and warm water. For dried or hardened stains, use denatured alcohol or Vicostone cleaner to help break down the problem area and scrub with a non-scratch pad. Never use abrasive chemicals such as acetone, paint thinner or bleach on Vicostone.   • What cleaners or detergents can I use on Vicostone?
    Use only mild detergent and water for daily routine cleaning. Non-abrasive cleansers with a neutral pH (pH between 6 and 8) are recommended. Denatured alcohol or Vicostone cleaner should be used for tougher spills and messes. Never use heavy-duty chemicals like acetone, bleach or paint thinner on Vicostone.
  • Do I need to seal Vicostone?
    Vicostone is a nonporous surface and never needs sealing. It is engineered to resist stains and block harmful bacteria from penetrating the stone.
  • Can I cut on Vicostone?
    Vicostone is scratch and chip resistant but not damage proof. Always use a cutting board and avoid dropping sharp knives and tools on the surface.
